PURPOSE: To obtain such an effervescent mixture as somewhat slowly producing the finely dispersed or colloidal precipitates of a pharmaceutical active substance by the action of an acidic solution or a gastric acid. CONSTITUTION: This effervescent mixture contains at least one kind of alkaline salt or lysinate of insoluble or slightly soluble acidic drug. The alkali salt or lysinate is intimately mixed with the alkaline component of an effervescent system, and both the components may finely be ground and granulated with a binder. The surfaces of both the alkali salt or lysinate and the acidic component of the effervescent system are inactivated. Especially the effervescent mixture contains a surfactant, especially sodium dodecylsulfate, in an amount of at least 0.5 pt.wt., preferably 1-3 pts.wt., per 100 pts.wt. of the active substance, and/or a binder or suspension auxiliary, especially polyvinyl pyrrolidone, in an amount of at least 1 pt.wt., preferably 3-5 pts.wt. |
