<p>PURPOSE:To provide the arraying method of icons, which is adjusted to the intuition of man, in a graphic user interface which is based on the icon operation of an electronic computer. CONSTITUTION:A procedure for obtaining (step 701 - step 704) the combination of a non-arrayed icon and an idle arraying destination candidate, both of which become the nearest viewed from both sides, and for shifting (step 705) the icons of the obtained combination to an idle arraying destination is repeated. Then, the icons are arrayed. Thus, the arraying destination of the icon in an icon arraying function becomes that which is visually adjusted to the intuition of the user, and the user can easily and uniquely execute estimation.</p> |
