The packaging comprises a cardboard tube (1) closed at one end by a metal cover (2). On the outside of the tube are many longitudinal striations (11). The lower end (12) of the tube is closed by crimping the metal cover on notches (24) on the tube. The cover is made from a round metal blank by two successive stampings, the first forming a lateral wall perpendicular to its bottom (21). The second stamping forms, by folding out the edge of the wall, a second lateral wall thus creating a peripheral groove between the two walls. The lower end of the tube is positioned in the groove whose outside edge is then squeezed onto the tube by means of a toothed wheel whose ridges form the tube notches approximately fitting the striations on the external face of the tube. |
