PURPOSE:To obtain a cascade connection voltage controlled oscillator from which a sufficiently large negative resistance characteristic is extracted and whose oscillation output is high. CONSTITUTION:The cascade connection provides a condition that a DC current I flowing from a power supply VB flows at first to a transistor (TR) 1 of an oscillation amplifier section (b) and then flows to a Tr 2 of a buffer amplifier section (c). Since a resistor R4 decisive to the DC current I is connected to the Tr 2 of the buffer amplifier section (c) at the outside of a feedback loop of the oscillation amplifier section (b), the resistor R4 deciding the DC current I of the circuit is not a low resistor of a feedback loop of the oscillation amplifier section (b). Thus, a sufficiently large negative resistance characteristic is extracted from the voltage controlled oscillator with a high oscillation output. |
