PURPOSE:To prevent the contamination of members with which respective conductive members come into contact, by a conductive member subjected to a surface treatment with a coupling agent and to develop the performance which is entirely equal to untreated members in performance as the electrostatic charging member. CONSTITUTION:The surfaces of the conductive members for an electrophotographic device including (a) the electrostatic charging member 11 which electrostatically charges body to be electrostatically charged by pressing the member to this body and impressing voltage between the member and the body to be electrostatically charged, (b) a developer carrying member 1 which has thin film of a developer formed on its surface by carrying the developer and visualizes an electrostatic latent image by adhering the developer from the thin film to the electrostatic latent image on the surface of a latent image holding member 5 by coming into contact with the latent image holding member 5 which holds the latent image on the surface in this state and (c) a transfer member 8 which electrostatically charges the transfer paper and transfers the developer to transfer paper from the electrostatic latent image visualized by the developer by (b), etc., are treated by the coupling agent. |
