PURPOSE:To reduce the cost by applying a bias voltage having the same polarity to a recovering electrode and electrifying electrode, using a single bias power source. CONSTITUTION:The electrifying electrodes 44a-44c and recovering electrode 42 are connected by a resistor 46, and a bias voltage is applied to the electrifying electrode 44a situated the furthest upstream. The absolute value of the potential of the recovering electrode 42 is set smaller than the absolute value of the surface potential of a photoreceptor drum 12 electrified by the electrifying electrodes 44a-44c. Therefore, in an exposure point 22, developer 26 is attached to an exposed part and developer 26 attached to an unexposed part is recovered to the recovering electrode 42. |
