PURPOSE:To improve drying efficiency without requiring maintenance and exchange, etc., over a long period and to prevent generation of uneven squeezing at the time of intermittent processing. CONSTITUTION:Squeezing rollers 60, 61 applied to an emulsion surface side are formed by machining roller body surface layers made of a closed cell foamed resin, opening the closed cells on the surfaces and forming open pores on the surfaces. The squeezing rollers 60A, 61A on the emulsion surface side are capable of swiftly sucking water from a film F like a sponge roller 4. The sucked water is not absorbed into the rollers and is returned to a washing tank, etc., by flowing on the surfaces. The squeezing rollers 60A, 61A absorb a large volume of water and are not contaminated. The volume of the water to be held in the water absorbing rollers is extremely little even if the rollers are used for a long time and, therefore, the thickening of the liquid does not arise and uneven squeezing does not arise. |
