PURPOSE:To provide a moving speed controller with which a passenger is relieved from a shock produced at the time of the start/finish of acceleration/ deceleration. CONSTITUTION:The moving speed of a moving unit is accelerated from an initial low speed v1 to a maximum speed vmax with a constant acceleration alpha3 and is decelerated to the initial low speed v1 with a constant deceleration alpha7. Between these accelerating and decelerating transition states, accelerating and decelerating states with transition accelerations/decelerations (alpha2, alpha4, alpha6 and alpha8 which provide speed change rates smaller than the speed change rates provided by the acceleration (alpha3 and deceleration alpha7 are inserted to avoid a sudden speed change. |
