PURPOSE:To set a tuning frequency automatically in the case of checking a receiver. CONSTITUTION:A check mode signal S1 whose frequency is F1 decided in advance from a signal generating means 3 is inputted to a receiver 2 in the check mode, the receiver 2 is tuned to a tuning frequency f1 corresponding to the frequency F1 to make reception and the performance of the receiver is checked based on its reception output. The check mode signal S1 is sent/ interrupted to/from the receiver 1 corresponding to a code representing a frequency F2 to be tuned. A tuning frequency f2 is set to the receiver 2 corresponding to a code decoded from off/on of a mute signal S4 corresponding to the transmission/interrupt of the check mode signal S1, the receiver makes reception similarly to above and the performance is checked. Thus, the performance check for the receiver 2 is attained for plural frequencies by repeating the transmission/interrupt of the check mode signal S1 and the tuning of the receiver 2 to change the tuning frequency sequentially. |
