摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To analyze solute with high sensitivity by making the refractive index of a rigid conduit forming a core area smaller than that of aqueous liquid, and filling water soluble liquid into the core area so as to measure a light wave transmitted in the water soluble liquid. CONSTITUTION: Material whose refractive index is less than 1.33 is used for a rigid conduit 18 containing liquid core. Light radiated from a light source 22 is transmitted to liquid sample absorbed inside a wave guide 18 by an optical fiber 20, and is transmitted through the liquid in an axis direction. The light after passing the sample is reflected and is received by the optical fiber 20, and is transmitted to an optical analyzer 24. Most of the light attempting to leak out from the wall of the wave guide 18, whose inner face is coated by a polymer, is totally reflected so as to be enclosed in the core inside, and light path length becomes long so that the irradiated light transmits over a long distance in the sample. Accordingly, an interaction amount between the aqueous liquid sample and the light becomes large so that the liquid analysis sensitivity is significantly enhanced.</p>
