PURPOSE:To make discrimination as to whether a plate material is one for the processing or not. CONSTITUTION:A plate material 38 is pressed toward pin roller 332, 334 side by pushers 344, 380 and is positioned on a lifting table 300 on which the plate material 38 to be supplied to a plotting section, is placed. The pusher is provided with a plate kind detecting sensor 62 on the upper side of a pressing roller 340 in such a manner that the plate kind detecting sensor 62 is disposed to face more outside than a bending position at the time of plate bending by the peripheral edge of the plate material 38 when the plate material 38 is pressed by the pusher 344. The plate kind detecting sensor 62 receives the light projected from a light projecting part and reflected at the surface of the plate material 38 in a photodetecting section. The result of the photodetection varies according to a difference in tint between the surface of the base of aluminum and the photosensitive surface and, therefore, whether the plate material 38 is a printing plate 20 having the photosensitive layer formed on the surface opposed to the plate kind detecting sensor 62 or not, is discriminated from the result of the photodetection. |
