PURPOSE:To quickly and easily obtain the same picture as a picture recorded in a microfilm by synthesizing print data read from an external apparatus with form data to simultaneously record the result in the microfilm and an optical disk and using recorded information of this optical disk. CONSTITUTION:Print data read in from the external apparatus is synthesized with a form designated by form designating data, and page constitution analysis is performed, and data of a portion of a prescribed number of pages is recorded in a frame memory 54 by code information, and data in this frame memory 54 is used to perform COM editing and COD editing independently of each other, and results are recorded in a microfilm 40 and an optical disk 76. They are recorded in the optical disk 76 as code information. If print data includes external character code information, pattern information (character form data) of the external character is simultaneously read in from the external apparatus and is recorded in the optical disk 76. |
