PURPOSE:To make it possible to execute system degenerating operation up to minimum constitution in which two or more processors are normally operated even when abnormality is generated in a master processor. CONSTITUTION:One of plural processors 10-1 to 10-4 effectively connected to a system is used as a master processor and the remaining processors are allocated to slave processors. A certain processor out of the processors 10-1 to 10-4 compares its own processor number stored in a processor number register 58 with the processor numbers of other processors stored in a processor validity register 56, and when its own processor number is the minimum as compared with other processor numbers, recognizes that its own processor is a master processor. Master initialization diagnostic processing after allocation is monitored by the slave processing, and when master abnormality is recognized, degradation for disconnecting the master from the system is executed and the processors 10-1 to 10-4 are reconstituted by master/slave allocating processing. |
