PURPOSE:To provide a wrist watch equipped with a calling unit which can sense an external calling signal positively without increasing the size or weight of the wrist watch. CONSTITUTION:The wrist watch with calling unit comprises a section for receiving an external calling signal, a section for generating mechanical vibration upon receiving a signal and a section 2 for feeding power thereto. The vibration generating section comprises rear covers 5, 4 having and not having the function of a vibration plate, a piezoelectric oscillator 8 secured to the inner face of the rear cover 5, and a protrusion 7 provided on the outer surface of the rear cover 5. Since the skin is stimulated directly, the calling signal is sensed positively. Furthermore, it can be applied to human body with no oppressive sensation and the size and weight are increased only slightly as compared with a watch equipped with no calling unit. |
