PURPOSE:To improve connection probability and to shorten useless retransmisison time when the connection is disabled by setting the maximum number of retry corresponding to the connection probability in the case of retry absence to be fluctuated by environmental factors. CONSTITUTION:When the connection probability of no retry is p1, generally, the connection probability in the case of a retry number (n) is expressed by p(n)=1-(1-p1)<(n-1>. Namely, when the number (n) of retry is infinitely increased, the connection probability can be made close to 100%. However, even when the retransmission due to the retry is repeated, at a real system, probability of no established link channel exists. Therefore, by controlling the maximum retry number, the best connection probability for this system can be provided in a short time by retry. Namely, a retransmission contorller 16 measures the connection probability at a logical control channel depending on an environment by trying exchange between a base unit 1 and a hand set 2 some times and based on those data, the suitable maximum retry number can be set. Thus, the connection probability can be improved and the useless retransmission time can be shortened. |
