<p>PURPOSE:To attain the stable electrifying property, to easily control electric charge and to uniformize electrifying property among toner particles by incorporating a specific terpene derivative in the toner. CONSTITUTION:The toner contains a binder resin, a coloring agent and the terpene derivative obtained by allowing terpene to additionally react with two or more compounds having acid group or hydroxide group, and the content of the terpene derivative is 1-30 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. binder resin. If the content of the terpene derivative is <=1 pts.wt., the effect to improve the electrifying property is insufficient and if the content of the terpene derivative is <=30 pts.wt., the anti-blocking property of the toner is hindered. As the terpene used as the terpene derivative, for example, non-cycle monoterpene such as myrcene, geraniol, nerol or citronellol or monocyclic monoterpene such as limonene, menthol or terpinen can be used individually or as a mixture.</p> |
