DEVELOPER AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PURPOSE:To provide a developer more improved in the adhesion property of inorg. fine particles than conventional composite fine particles, having a high grinding effect and high stability of electrification, and without any liberation of inorg. fine particles even in the case of using a developing device having recycling mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The toner used for this developer consists of composite fine particles and color particles containing at least a resin and a coloring agent. The composite fine particles are obtd. by depositing and fixing inorg. fine particles to the surface of resin fine particles. The composite resin fine partcles consist of resin fine particles (B) having 500-2000nm number average primary particles size and inorg. fine particles having 5-100nm number average particle size deposited and fixed to the surface of the resin fine particles. The resin fine particles (B) are produced by coating the surface of resin fine particle (A) as the core having 4-120 deg.C glass transition temp. (Tg) and 10-500nm number average primary particle size with a resin layer having 0-40 deg.C glass transition temp (Tg).
