<p>PURPOSE:To improve the annual load factor of power company by controlling inverter motors and inverter illuminators used in a power plant, or the like, according to a demand control signal thereby cutting the peak power in summer season at the power company. CONSTITUTION:A demand power counter 5 is installed in a central load- dispatching office for managing generation and supply of power in order to totalize the demand power value in real time. Inverter motors 8 and inverter illuminators 9 used in power plant, power transforming station, company house, office, etc., are set under on-line management of the demand power counter 5 so that frequency decrease of inverter motor 8 and voltage decrease of inverter illuminator 9 are subjected to on-line control according to a demand control signal. This system allows to cut the peak power in summer season within a power company thus improving the annual load factor of power company.</p> |
