PURPOSE:To prevent the roller of a toner carrying means from being damaged and soiled even if a photoreceptor is exchanged. CONSTITUTION:In this electrophotographic recorder transferring/sticking toner to a carrying means 11 while regulating the quantity of the toner from a toner supplying part by a toner quantity regulating member 12, further, transferring the toner to an intermediate roller 7 and then, developing an image on a photoreceptor drum 5 with the toner on the intermediate roller 7, a protective cover 8 is sent to a position opposite to the photoreceptor drum 5 in the vicinity of the surface of the intermediate roller 7, linking with the removing operation of the photoreceptor drum 5, so that the contamination and flaws of the surface of the intermediate roller 7 can be prevented. |
