PURPOSE: To prevent toner particles in a 1st toner image from being attracted to a 2nd toner supply station. CONSTITUTION: This device is equipped with an image member 1, a 1st toner station 15 which forms a 1st toner image on the image member 1, a 2nd exposure station 17 which forms a 2nd electrostatic image in the same frame or area with the 1st toner image, the 2nd station 25 which supplies 2nd toner to the electrostatic image and forms a 2nd toner image without transferring or fixing the 1st toner image, and a roller cleaner 40 which is provided between the 1st station 15 and 2nd toner station 25 and removes 1st toner particles sticking weakly on the image member. A roller 42 is applied with a bias voltage to attract the toner particles having a weak sticking force. |
