PURPOSE:To shorten the communication time and to reduce the communication cost when a host computer at a management point sends control data to plural copying machines through the use of a line by providing a control means sending the control data to an equipment to be managed via a 2nd communication means based on received identification data to the method. CONSTITUTION:A copying machine main body 100 is provided with a DC controller 800 controlling the copy operation or the like and a communication control means 901 implementing transmission of state data of the copying machine main body 100 or reception of the control data of the copying machine main body 100. A central management equipment 900 receives an equipment ID from the plural copying machine main body 100 to generate a state table. Upon the receipt of the control data and an adapted identifier from a host computer 904, the central management equipment 900 checks the state table to send the received control data to the copying machine 100 having an equipment ID matching with the adapted identifier. The central management equipment 900 makes communication using one communication line between the plural copying machine main bodies 100 and the host computer 904. |
