PURPOSE:To enable execution of simple and easy assembly without necessitating screwing and welding operations, by providing an outer frame of which the bottom side and lateral sides are formed by combining a formed plate made of a thin steel plate and single plates, an inner frame which is fitted inside the outer frame with glass wool molded plates interposed, and an upper cover. CONSTITUTION:On the occasion of assembling a duct for air conditioning, an outer frame 1 is formed by inserting side plates 17 respectively between frame edges 16 formed by bending the end parts of two opposite lateral sides of a main outer frame 15 prepared by bending a thin steel plate so that it has a U-shaped section. Next, a glass wool molded plate 2A with a hole is attached onto the lateral side 12 having a hole 11 for an inlet opened, while glass wool molded plates 2 are attached onto a bottom side 14 and other lateral sides, and then an inner frame 3 prepared by bending a thin steel plate so that it has a U-shaped section is fitted in on the glass wool molded plates 2. After an outlet 6 and a damper 7 are put in to be held, thereafter, four corners of frame edges formed by bending four sides of an upper cover 4 and the frame edges 16 of the outer frame 1 are made to engage with each other respectively and engagement projections 18 formed on the outer frame 1 are made to engage with and fixed in square holes 44 formed in the upper cover 4, whereby the assembly is completed. |
