PURPOSE:To provide a passage management system for toll roads which can collect the tolls with no use of passes, can save a labor at the gates without troubling the users, and can effectively eliminate the traffic retardation at the entrance in particular. CONSTITUTION:At the entrance of a toll road having plural sections, the vehicles are individually identified by the vehicle identifying devices 4-1 to 4-4. These identification information are stored in an integrated management device 3. At the same time, the vehicles are also identified at the exit of the toll road by the devices 4-1 to 4-4. Then the identification information on vehicles are collated at the exist with the identification information stored in the device 3. Thus the toll of each vehicle is automatically calculated. |
