PURPOSE:To speedily and exactly update contents of a contract by directly transmitting new second subordinate data, which are changed by updating the contract, through a second transmission route to the reception system of a viewer and storing the data. CONSTITUTION:When the viewer reports the updating request of contracted contents to a broadcasting center 29 by using a telephone, at the broadcasting center 29, the new personal information of the updated contract is transmitted through a telephone line 30 to the reception system of the viewer. Therefore, a control circuit 35 controls the switching of a changeover switch 32 so as to select a bit stream signal corresponding to the new personal information outputted from an oblique interleave conversion circuit 36 and stores the new personal information of the updated contract in a scramble decoder 13. Therefore, the new personal information can be directly transmitted and stored through the telephone line 30 to the reception system of the viewer, and the contracted contents can be updated in a short time. |
