PURPOSE:To provide a timer function which has extremely high precision in a stable power supply state, operates with lower power consumption in a power failure state, and has the high precision immediately after a recovery from the power failure. CONSTITUTION:This circuit is equipped with a timer IC 2 which has the timer function, a backup power source 5 for a power failure, a timer IC correcting device 4 which corrects the time of the timer IC 2, and a control circuit 3 which controls time data transfer between the timer IC 2 and timer IC 2; if the power failure occurs, the timer IC 2 is driven by the backup power source 5 and when the power supply recovers from the power failure, the timer IC correcting device 4 is reset with the output of the timer IC 2. |
