<p>PURPOSE:To provide a nonprojection type photoelectric moving object sensor which can detect a moving object entering into or leaving from a predetermined space over a wide brightness range of ambient light and can respond quickly to the transient variation thereof while realizing low current consumption, low operating voltage and low cost. CONSTITUTION:The inventive sensor comprises an optical system 2 for focusing the reflection image of light from a predetermined space at a predetermined position, a light receiving means, an operating circuit section 4, and a housing 1 therefor having an opening 11 in the front. The sensor includes no means for projecting light into a predetermined path or space while the optical focusing system 2 includes a focus lens 5 and a diaphragm member 6 and the operating circuit section 4 includes a logarithmic amplifier and a comparing circuit.</p> |
