PURPOSE:To decide the normality of a system totally with a simple circuit and a simple software by providing a supervisory/transfer circuit to each unit equipment in a communication system of redundant configuration and transferring supervisory information to post-stages. CONSTITUTION:A supervisory/transfer circuit 103 of a unit device 1 supervises an output signal from a circuit 104 and a package in a unit device after a stage of a selection circuit 104 and transfers a normal/abnormal signal to post-stages. A supervisory/transfer circuit 201 of a unit device 2 supervises an output signal from a circuit 103 and a package in the unit device 2 and relays a fault signal when it is detected and superimposes a fault signal onto the output signal of the circuit 103 when a fault is detected in the unit 2 and transfers the superimposed signal to post- stages. The processing above is similar to the case of a unit device 3. Supervisory/ transfer circuits 401, 402 of a unit device 4 terminate a received signal and supervises a package in the unit device 4 before the selection circuit 404 and transfer the result of supervision to a supervisory controller 5a. The controller 5a provides the output of signals (3), (4) used to select a system operated correctly based on signals 11-14 to control the selection circuits of the unit device 4 and the controller 4a. |
