HARDWARE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM/METHOD

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide an electronic parts management method/device which can eliminate the manual collation of information and also can prevent the build-in of improper electronic parts into a system. CONSTITUTION:The proper information on the hardware that can be or to be mounted is previously stored in a storage 7 of a management device 1. Meanwhile the ID-ROM 5 and 6 where the proper hardware information are written are mounted on the hardwares 2 and 3. The contents of both ID-ROM 5 and 6 are read out and collated with the proper information stored previously in the device 1 at a collating part 9. Thus the improper hardware is shown on a display 4. The device 1 is totally controlled at a control part 10.
