PURPOSE: To execute a subsequent processing by capturing and analyzing data on a real time basis from a high speed communication network in an event interface EDI. CONSTITUTION: When an event interface EDI 18 recognizes a trigger bit pattern in the series bit stream of a data communication network, it outputs an enable signal. Then, EDI 18 is selectively connected to the network through a gate in response to the signal, and the previously decided part of the series bit stream is acquired. Then, it is stored in a capture buffer 30. An event vector buffer connected to EDI 18 is connected to the capture buffer. It is transferred to an expert system analyzer E/S and the contents of an information field are analyzed. The data communication network is characterized and it is set to be the reference of network control. Thus, data is captured on a real time basis from the high speed communication network and it can be used for the subsequent processing. |
