PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of the converter circuit of the DC circuit part of a large-capacity rectangular wave inverter by starting charging the capacitor of the large-capacity rectangular wave inverter by the converter circuit, and then starting charging the large-capacity rectangular wave inverter and a small-capacity high-frequency PWM inverter after a breaker for linkage is closed. CONSTITUTION:The capacitor 2 of the DC circuit part of the large-capacity rectangular wave inverter 5 with 120 deg. electric feeding width begins to be charged by the converter 6. After the breaker 13 for linkage between a system power source 14 and inverters 5 and 9 is closed, the large-capacity rectangular wave inverter 5 and small-capacity high frequency PWM inverter 9 begins to be operated. Therefore, the converter circuit 6 of the DC circuit part 4 of the large-capacity rectangular wave inverter 5 needs to have capacity which is large enough to complete the charging until the large-capacity rectangular wave inverter 5 starts operating. Consequently, the capacity of the converter 6 of the DC circuit part 4 of the large-capacity rectangular wave inverter 5 is reducible. |
