PURPOSE:To obtain an inverted picture in real time without adding a complicated circuit to a picture decoder. CONSTITUTION:A memory 13 where decoded picture data is expanded and stored in picture units with respect to each frame, a memory interface 25 having the address generating circuit which generates a read address to the memory 13 in the scanning direction where at least one of horizontal and vertical directions is inverted in accordance with instruction contents at the time of instructing the display of a picture which is inverted in at least one of vertical and horizontal directions, and a picture interface 26 which outputs picture data read out from the memory 13 in accordance with address designation of the address generating circuit in the memory interface 25 to display this data are provided. |
