PURPOSE: To simplify a battery structure, by attaching a positive termination part of a plate stack to one of end part disks of a battery case and by grounding another negative termination part thereof to another end part disk. CONSTITUTION: A plate stack 50 supported between an end part wall 26 and a cover 28 of an internal case 22 of a button battery 20 is composed of one or a plurality of repetitive electrode sets. Each of the electrode sets is equipped with a gas screen 52, a negative electrode 54, a separator 56, positive electrode plates 58, 60, a separator 62, and a negative electrode 64. The number of the repetitive electrode sets of the battery is determined according to a desired capacity of the battery 20. The positive electrode plates 58, 60 of each of the repetitive electrode sets are electrically connected to a circular terminal disk 36 by a tab 72. Further, the negative electrode plates 54, 64 of each of the repetitive electrode sets are electrically grounded to the case 22 by a tab 74. |
