<p>PURPOSE:To effectively use a display screen without using a method for making a window into an icon by providing a means for operating the layout of the screen on a special window where the arranged state of the respective windows can be grasped, and for operating the windows existing on the screen being a display area and beyond the display area. CONSTITUTION:In the layout window W3, the window arranged state on the present screen G is extractively displayed like rectangles P1-P5 corresponding to the windows W1, W2, W4 and W5 and the layout window W3. When one of the rectangles P1-P5 is selected in the layout window W3 and the position is shifted to the screen display area B shown in the layout window W3, the window corresponding to the rectangle is turned out from the actual screen G and therefore the display area of the limited screen G can be secured. When the window turned out from the screen G is required, it can be shifted to the screen display area A.</p> |
