Clinical appts. for diagnosis of damage to labyrinth of ear

A special vibrator transmits oscillations of different frequencies (analogous to those of massage appts.) at different sites of the body to the bone structure. These sites may include right and left temple bones, the point of the jaw, and the teeth of dentures. Movements of the eyes are recorded on tape by a high-speed video camera. The video signals are digitised for processing by computer, with measurements transferred to a spatial co-ordinate system by a special software program.
