<p>A horticultural support sleeve for supporting a weak point or join in a plant stem, the support sleeve being open at both ends and being, at least in part, rollable relative to itself to form a ring; and a method of supporting a weak point or join in a plant stem comprising the steps of: (a) providing a support sleeve as described above; (b) placing the stem through the sleeve, so that the sleeve surrounds part of the stem, the sleeve being in an at least partially rolled condition; (c) unrolling the rolled part of the sleeve over the weak point in the stem to support the weak point.</p> |
