Vibrating conveyor for sorting material

The conveyor (1) is movable in all directions on supporting springs (6) and has revolving masses (2,3) on shafts (2a,3a) driven by electric motors (4,5). The position of each mass can be worked out from readings of sensors (7). The input side of the conveyor leads into three output troughs (14-16) into which the conveyed material can be directed by electronically controlled phasing of the masses maintained in revolution at the same frequency in opposite directions.
