The present invention relates to a method to prepare the installation of channel using units in several rooms on the one and same floor and which method allows a subsequent completion of units. The invention also relates to a multiple channel means for performing said method. The method is characterized in that onto a flooring support (6) between a distributing central (8) and the rooms on the floor there are arranged flexible channel means (7) enclosed in an exterior casing (32), said channels means comprising: a) a separate channels or conduits (17, 18) for the flow to and from a heat or cold brine to radiators (24) in the rooms, b) channels (19 - 22) for electricity and/or communicating units; and c) a channel space for fresh air, whereupon the floor (10, 11) is finished to cover the multiple channel means (7).
