The invention relates to an optical matrix device for the redistribution and concentration of electromagnetic radiation which directs the radiation coming from any spatial point positioned in front of it towards a controlled area, providing an irradiation distribution having predetermined, including uniform, shape and size. Said device comprises an assembly of independent systems (1) formed of a pupil (1.1) and various diopters (1.2, 1.3, 1.4). These devices may be applied to any type of optical constructions and devices wherein it is desired to incorporate a lighting such as described hereabove. It may be used in offices, commercial premises, wharehouses and industrial workshops, housing and the like, for introducing and making the most of natural lighting.
