The angled bracket (3) is fitted with a rotary roller body (1) with a free front side. The roller body carries a layer (5) of resilient, absorption material for the paint, while a swivel lever (7) is located on the bracket, whose end carries a trapezoidal, lateral protective plate (2) swivelable from its working position into one opposite the roller front side. Both longitudinal edges of the protective plate are fitted with flat brushes (15) for forming paint boundary lines. In the protective plate working position the flat brushes slightly protrude over the roller dia. They enclose an acute angle with the protective plate.
