<p>A process for producing a meat product consisting of substantially lump-like meat product and a substantially liquid sauce in a container, e.g. a tray, tin or the like, such as animal foods, especially for domestic animals or the like, whereby frozen raw meat is cut into pieces and packed with the sauce in a lower section of the container and the lower section and an upper section of the container are secured together in a liquid-proof and gastight manner and whereby there is provision for a sterilisation process, in which both the meat product consisting of the pieces of meat, possibly with the addition of pre-produced meat or vegetable-based chunks and the granulated sauce are pressed together in the frozen, solid, semi-dried state to form a moulding and inserted as such into the lower section. The invention also relates to a meat product thus produced.</p> |
