Method of securing screw connection

The cap or disc (3) is riveted to the screw foot or head (2). It prevents access to the screw connection after installation. Under the rivet head (5) is an expander body e.g. a spherical truncated bolt or ball facilitating riveting and increasing the connecting strength. A suitably shaped plain washer secures the cap on the screw. The cap or disc can be welded to the screw.
