Suction appts. esp. for workplaces in dental laboratory

A number of suction points (2) at different workplaces are connected by suction lines (3) to a central tube (4) communicating with a central installation via dust filters and a blower. A diaphragm valve (6) in each line isolates the suction point from the airflow in the central tube. The valve is controlled by an electronic unit (7) via a three-port two-position valve (9) and connecting line (12). A handheld tool (8a) operated by means of a knee switch (8b) sends a pulse to the control unit to actuate the valve and to open the suction line.
