Multifunctional portable communication terminal

The communication terminal (1) includes a personal computer with a keyboard (6) and a screen unit (2). It also has a telecommunication terminal unit (3,4,6) in functional connection with the personal computer and arranged in the same housing. The terminal unit (3,4) may be a facsimile machine (4) with a reading unit (4a) and a printer (4b). Alternatively or additionally, the terminal unit (3,4) can be a telephone (3). The personal computer may be a lap-top computer. The apparatus may have at least one interface to a telecommunication network. Transmitted or received data may be displayed on the screen (2) and/or may be printed by the facsimile printer (4b). Preferably, the apparatus has only one keyboard (6) for all commands and dialling.
