TOILET ATTACHMENT WITH EASILY DETACHABLE SEAT

A toilet attachment (10) comprises a detachable seat (14) and a seat cover (16). A hinge shaft (74) is supported by a pair of struts (72) to project from a housing (12). Hinge portions of the seat (14) and seat cover (16) are provided with C-shaped elastic collars (84), and are snap fitted on the hinge shaft (74). When it is desired to remove the seat and seat cover for the purpose of washing with water and cleaning, they are easily disengaged only by pulling by a hand. When it is desired to mount the seat and seat cover on the housing, the hinge portions are easily snap fitted on the hinge shaft by applying the elastic collars (84) to the hinge shaft (74) and depressing the same. Since the hinge shaft (74) and the struts (72) are exposed from the housing, they can be easily accessed for the purpose of cleaning.
