Two pipe ends (1,2) are connected by a sleeve (5) where one pipe end slides into the sleeve in the axial direction. They can snap in several possible positions defined by four complementary sets of notches (10-15) arranged along the circumference of the sleeve and the pipe. The notches are asymmetrically formed such that axial movements in preferred directions between two end positions and at least one medium position are possible and in other directions impossible or only against increased resistance. The sets are complementary in a way that rotation of the pipe in the sleeve is impossible. There is a seal (17) between the end of the sleeve and the second pipe (18).
