Equipment for continuously measuring the concentration of radon gas in air. Equipment for continuously measuring radon gas in air by means of the simultaneous measurement of alpha and beta particles emitted by the decay products of this gas, with beta-alpha coincidences also being metered thus enabling the self-calibration of the meter. This equipment comprises: a scintillation counter sensitive to both types of particles, each with discriminators for separating the impulses of both particles, a beta-alpha coincidence and a microcontroller for carrying out the necessary calculations. <IMAGE>
