The improvements are applicable to sights of the type used in recreational machines, whose figures are established along a continuous strip 5 and centre on the fact that said strip 5 is supported and guided by a frame embodied by a pair of parallel plates 1 and 2, connected by means of spacers 3, with the special feature that said plates incorporate, in their facing faces, individual grooves 4 intended to receive, loosely, the corresponding edges of the continuous strip 5, acting as guide means for said strip. At one of the smaller sides of the plates 1-2, the grooves 4 move markedly inwards, determining a type of loop (link) 6, where the continuous strip 5 receives the action of the corresponding entrainment drum 9. This special guide system for the continuous strip 5 makes it possible to determine, in the grooves 4, a rectilinear section 4' and an arcuate section 4" which in turn convert the sight into a reversible element capable of offering the observer, without distinction, a planar or curved/convex operational section requiring no more than inversion of its mounting position. <IMAGE>
