PURPOSE:To improve the fitting between a lid body and a container body by using a projecting part provided on the lid body to prevent the occurrence of the so-called blocking, i.e., a simultaneous lifting of two or more lids engaged with one another taking place at the time of drawing up the stacked lids by a sucker. CONSTITUTION:An annular recess groove 1 of a lid A which is fitted over the flange part 100 of a container body V is provided on its inner wall part 3 with a projecting part 42 bulging toward the inside of the recess groove 1. When the lids A are stacked, projecting part 42 of the lid A above is set on the upper surface of the recess groove formed part of the lid A below and the recess groove 1 of the lid A above will not fit into the recess groove formed part of the lid below. When the flange part 100 of the container body V is fitted into the recess groove 1, the projecting part 42 comes into contact with the inner surface of the container body V to press the flange part 100 against the outer wall part 8 of the recess groove 1.
