<p>PURPOSE:To transfer a waste gas to the succeeding harmful matter removing stage without generating dioxin and to discharge the pollution-free gas into the atmosphere by forcedly and rapidly cooling a high-temp. waste gas of a waste PCB soln. from a PCB gas incinerator to a specified temp. CONSTITUTION:The cooling water in a high-pressure water feed pipe 7 is circulated in a secondary cooling tower 9 with a high-pressure water pump 11, and the cooling water is cooled to <=50 deg.C in a cooling water coiled pipe 9a in the tower 9. The water 16 on the tower bottom is sent to a high-pressure spray 17 with the pump 11, and the high-pressure sprayed water exchanges heat with the environmental atmosphere by a large-sized blower 10. The waste gas 2 at >=1600 deg.C is rapidly cooled to <=200 deg.C within 1/10sec with this cooler, hence dioxin is not generated, the harmful component such as NOx is removed in the succeeding stage, and the pollution-free waste gas is discharged into the atmosphere.</p> |
