<p>PURPOSE:To form a protective layer uniformly and to apply the surface protection layer to make a card having breakage resistance, water resistance, and chemical resistance by installing an injector for application liquid and a dropping member comprising a porous body at the end of the injector. CONSTITUTION:A small-sized card 11 as a material to be coated with a protective layer is arranged to be able to move at constant speed in the arrow direction indicated on the right in a drawing on a transfer passage, for example, by rollers 21, 22 and a back roll 25 as transfer means. A dropping member 110 which is attached to the main body 101 of an injector 100 by a fixing plate 103 through the card 11 is installed right above the back roll 25 to be able to contact the card 11. An application liquid tank 150 is connected with the supply passage 102 of the injector 100 through an electromagnetic valve 120. In this way, a bead which has been formed so far in the rear end part of the card 11 is transferred at once to form a thick membrane so that a phenomenon in which the thickness of the protective layer membrane becomes non-uniform is completely eliminated by the present apparatus.</p> |
